For the first day of experimentation within the palimpsest brief, I gathered random written materials from around my room. These included old uni notes, late passes from high school, and a book of Samoan hymns; all things that hold some sort of resonance to either my upbringing or important moments of growth in my life. Although this was unintentional, I did enjoy the sentimental aspect of the subject matter which linked from the photography brief.

I found interest in photocopying and scanning, and used today to experiment with those processes as I didn’t have much experience with them prior. I also spent the day printing out more materials that held cultural and/or personal value to me which was enjoyable.
