This work is basically just putting together the subject matter and techniques from all of my previous other works. I focused a lot more on the idea of layering texts to create new images by processing the same writing multiple times on top of eachother but changing the rotation, size and colour.
I brought back images like the Vailima bottles and hibiscus’ and used them as a primary source of colour within the works to create more contrast and layers. When scanning, I lightened these images to the highest setting to make a transparent effect, I wanted to be able to see the pictures scanned before, as well as smaller details like the rips and collaging in the paper
