Art machines: Final

We started today by making some tweaks to our design. James very graciously offered to reprogram our motor to spin slower which was very kind of him. After a long walk in the rain yesterday I was able to find some cellophane to buy, so that we could hang them around the space to play with the light even more. We also added a smaller hole so that it heightens that feeling of looking inside the machine and being disconnected. That the space isn’t yours. I’m really glad that we were able to get everything ready the day before, so that our only worries today were pushing our machine a little bit further and focusing it. I am really happy with how it turned out. I really liked how this brief pushed me to think further about the actual process of making and how that speaks to the artwork.
