Continuing from my last post, my print was successful… after a few failures. I have a very limited supply of filament at the moment and after 2 fails on a scale this big made things a little tricky. I had to make some revisions to my design to limit unnecessary waste. To work around this In the future I will use scraps of prints that would otherwise be thrown in the bin. Attached below is the handle attached to the gearbox, the plastic spaghetti that came from my printer and some rough plans for a modular attachment system.
