Bernard is a french artist who utilises the power of simplicity. The unique scraping technique reveals and covers certain colours. I used Bernard as a reference when exploring the technique attached to certain verbs. This was my first time scraping and dragging layers of paint. I was able to apply two layers on-top of each-other with one smooth scrape. Well scrolling through Bernards artwork I was intrigued by the use of motion. Depending on the motion of your wrists you are able to create illusions and shapes.
