This wasn’t really a part of the brief, but i thought i’ll just include it in my blog as a part of Lens base photography. The photos below are of our final goodbyes to my dear aunty who sadly passed away during lock down. It shows a labour of grieving, Having to watch her final moments though a facetime call was a real heart twister. These photos also show the last 5 seconds we ever got to see her off, in front of our childhood home where she had raised myself and my siblings, this was the place i met my aunty for the first time when we migrated from Samoa in 2004, little did i know 17 years later it’ll be the last place ill ever see her. This is the Harsh reality of Lockdown.Â
