For my first day of being in studio, we looked at various transfer processes.
In the above works I experimented with using PVA glue to transfer images, as well as with using paint to print imagery of leaves onto the page. I also used graphite sticks to press on paper with leaves underneath to create detailed outlines. Building on an image in this way to provide layers and depth is something I’m quite unfamiliar with. This brief is pushing me to experiment with a range of media and techniques without too much concern regarding the final product.
