I am really interested in the art, the detail yet how foggy it looks. I like how you can’t really tell what it is, if it is anything, there are just obscure things and shapes and the longer you look the more detail you find.
Brice Madern
When I saw this work I almost immediately thought of graffiti. I like the freedom of Madern’s art-making process and would like to experiment with using his techniques in painting. I also like the almost repetition of the same shape (or a motion that creates this shape) and how this becomes the entire art piece. I think I could learn from that instead of always feeling like I need to add many different things to my own art pieces in order to make them interesting or “complete”.
