For our first photography task, I found it a little tricky to think of things that I do every day that relate to labour. I found that I would get to caught up in the word labour thinking that it couldn’t include simple day to day tasks. I decided that for my first sequence I would make a cup of tea. I tried taking these photos from two different perspectives, one was taking photos of myself making the tea and the other was from my point of view. I found the photos from my point of view seemed to look more formal and instructional whereas I thought the ones showing me felt a bit more personal and less like a how-to video.
