Welcome the the 2022 Visual Arts Blog

Year 1 Visual Arts students are required to keep a running blog as part of Core Studio and Studio 1. The blogs function is to be reflective. It will be for photographically documenting your own artwork, analysis of your art practice and uploading contextual research (articles, artists). Your blog must be presented at every feedback and assessment event.

Other Visual Arts students can see your blog and make comments about your posts. In line with AUT code of conduct you should avoid posting personal, sensitive or offensive material. Consult a Lecturer before posting any content you are unsure about.

Your blogs accounts have been set up for you. Please follow the How To guide on Canvas to set up your profile and make your first post.

Below you will see a few post made by student last year. Have a browse through them to get an idea of how to approach your blog.
